Food Writing & Social Media Intern

Do you love food? Facebook and Twitter? Blogging? Big World | Small Kitchen
(www.bigworldsmallkitchen.com), the recipe and memoir blog of local writer Kazia Jankowski
(www.kaziajankowski.com), is looking for a part-time intern to help develop Big World | Small Kitchen’s
presence in the online food community.

Big World | Small Kitchen began about a year ago, when writer Kazia Jankowski left 5280 magazine to
work for the food centric brand strategy company Sterling-Rice Group (SRG). Kazia works as the
Associate Culinary Director at SRG, and she freelances for 5280 and Sunset magazines. And of course,
she writes Big World | Small Kitchen.

This internship would involve working closely with Kazia to develop Big World | Small Kitchen’s
Facebook, Twitter, and food blog relationships. Responsibilities will include reading and commenting on
local and national food blogs on behalf of Big World | Small Kitchen, assisting with Big World | Small
Kitchen’s Facebook and Twitter pages, and writing regular contributions the blog. The internship will
require approximately eight hours a week and is well suited for someone who likes to bring new ideas to
the table but who feels comfortable working independently.
