This person would buy my magazine as it suits their style of music and the
genre of my magazine is exactly what they are into. The audience profile states
that his favourite bands are Kasabian, Oasis and Stone roses; my magazine
makes references to these bands throughout using cover stories. The cover
and the contents show Ian Browns buyers guide, Kasabian’s new album and
Liam Gallagher’s new band. This person will see the high profile names and will
immediately be interested in buying the magazine. This person may see the
created artist on the front and recognise the style of music he is representing
by the way he is dressed and the cover stories from the contents page. This
might make him want to read about him as he is interested in the genre of
music he plays.

The fonts and colours I have used may appeal more to the younger generation
as they are bold and stand out. The colours of red and black are also
recognisable within magazines of a similar genre and he may recognise this
from existing magazines such as ‘NME’ and ‘Q’. The stand out bold fonts also
goes well with the style of the magazine and the genre of music it is
representing. The magazine immediately looks like it targets a male audience
as the pictures on the cover and the contents are of a male artist.
