Media Concepts

Media Language
 The film will contain many close-ups of the character and the props
which the character is using. The majority of the film will be an over
shoulder shot and a POV (Point of View), creating the illusion that the
audience is the murderer themselves
 The editing techniques that we will use included jump-cuts and cross
dissolving of the character and the props to give the audience an
understanding that the character is an abnormal person.
 The costume that the murderer will be wearing is dark in somewhat
trampy clothing. But the victim that the audience briefly sees will
wearing casual clothing.
 The music that will be used within the film would be a soft piano peace,
but at the end we will have a voice quoting a line from their diary “Today I
burned that son-of-a-bitch!”

Representations
 We are representing the antagonist of the film as being psycho and
obsessed with inflicting his pain upon other people. On the other hand
the victim that the audience briefly see as being sweet and innocent
 In the film there is no stereotypes being used as we want the audience to
see the murderer in a different light in somewhat breaking the rules of
the typical stereotype of a murderer
