Making a Tab for Facebook using the

Developers App
-You can use an FBML Tab but that restrict HTML customizing using div tags. So we have to
make “an app” for it using iFrames.

First search Developer, then click on it

You’ll get this

Obviously click Allow

I screwed up on mine but you’ll either have to confirm the account through a text message or a
credit card or you’ll be sent to the Developers app.

If you’re at the Developer app click on this

You’ll get this

So obviously do that and then you’ll be able to create your app.

Enter a name it doesn’t matter and agree to terms and you’ll get this page once you submit the
ReCaptcha…
If you want to add an Icon go to Change your icon, I could make one if we want. But once
you’re done with that go to Facebook Integration.

Do all the settings I put here except for the Tab Name, that can be whatever you want.
Now to add it go up top and click Back to my Apps, then once there. Click on Application
Profile Page.

Once you’re there it’s like any other, click Add to my Page. Click Univerity at Albany – Suny
and you’re done.
