Behavior and Participation Rubric

This rubric evaluates student behavior and participation in class. It assesses whether students come prepared with necessary supplies, respect their peers and teachers, have good work habits such as turning homework in on time, and actively participate in class activities. Students are scored on a scale for each category for multiple class periods to track their performance over time.

Bring all necessary supplies to class, including homework, pencils, planners, books…etc.

You will not have the opportunity to get items. Also take care of any personal issues before class (Bathrooom,
drinks, etc.)

Do what the teacher tells you, always pay attention, do not sleep, don’t talk when you are not suppose to, no goofing
around, don’t stop others from learning, the golden rule.

Work Habits
Turn in all homework on time, stay current on vocabulary book, no excuses/tell me ahead of time if there is any
problems.

Participate in all activities by answering questions, asking questions, helping peers, class discussions “amap”,
always give 110%, work appropriately with your math buddy, share ideas, help each other, pay attention to each
other.
