Abstract
Essay 2
In this paper I am explaining how I think I deserve a B in this Unit. I am going to explain
how I think that I know enough about the unit to get a B. I am also going to explain how I know I
don’t deserve anything above B, because I know that you can’t argue for something you don’t
deserve. If you try then you will not actually get a good grade at all. I am also going to
demonstrate my skill with this unit, by explaining things like the Big Bang and formation of
stars. That is the main reason that this paper says that I deserve a B, because of my mastery at
Argumentative Essay
I think I deserve a B. I can’t deserve more than a B, because I cannot explain something
about the Universe. That makes it difficult to argue for a grade on a unit that is mostly about the
Universe and the solar system. I think I deserve at least a B, because I have shown that I have an
overall knowledge of the Universe and the objects in it. I cannot explain everything that the unit
requires which keeps me from actually knowing enough to ask for an A. I can explain the Big
Bang and the stars, and more things like that. However it is hard for me to explain distancing
from space using things like Parallaxes. The bottom line is that I think I deserve a B because I
always stayed on task during class, show general knowledge of the subject at hand, and I also
One reason that I believe I deserve a B is that I always stayed on task. I never went to an
online gaming website or started working on other things when assigned to do things like
research. That is mainly how I was able to find most of the information on the Euclidean Space
and Newtonian Time. It was the class research assignments and the videos that I took notes on. It
was mainly the online research that really helped me. They helped me understand the
information explained in the videos and in class. Like when we were talking about space-time in

really helped me. By staying on task in class, it allowed me to absorb information which also
I also managed to learn most of the academic content required in this unit. I know a lot of
the details of the theories of the creation of the Universe and the Solar System, like the Big Bang
theory, a massive expansion from a single singularity which contained everything in the
Universe we see now. It was really simple after we watched the videos about the Universe. The
main thing that really would affect my grade is that I am still confused on some aspects of the
life cycles of stars and the HR Diagram. I can remember how a certain stars end by either
supernovae or a white dwarf; it is the forming of stars that actually confuses me. That is why I
don’t believe I deserve an A, because I don’t have an exceptional mastery of the topic, it is of a
broader since of it. That is why I can’t argue for an A. This leads me to another reason why I
believe I deserve a B; because I don’t think that I have completely mastered the subject.
I cannot argue for a grade that I know I would probably get a C for even trying. I still
cannot explain everything about the Universe, I cannot explain everything, mainly the rotation of
Earth and the Moon. It wasn’t something really was covered in much of the research that I did, or
the presentations of videos that we watched. It was covered for a little bit in one video, but it
wasn’t really enough to help me understand. I also wasn’t able to fully grasp everything about
the Cosmic Distant Ladder, especially Main Sequence Fitting; I am still completely lost on that
method of measuring. I couldn’t remember what I was talking about on the Unit Test, and I
know I can’t get the best grade without at least remembering things like which were on the
curriculum in the Unit 2 syllabus. Without this information I can’t argue for a perfect or nearly
perfect score. That would be like someone arguing a murder with blood all over their hands

I know I don’t deserve an A, I can’t argue for that, but I still believe that I at least deserve
a B, because I was able to show sufficient knowledge of the Unit. I can say how the universe
began, certain life cycles of types of stars. I can explain who scientists use telescopes and star
spectrum to test the distant of a star or even a galaxy from our planet. It is all very easy for me to
actually explain with a confidence that I am correct. I can tell people what the Big Bang is, and
how to measure start distances. I can tell someone what space-time and gravity is with a sort of
ease. I cannot fully explain everything, but I can pretty much explain most things pertaining to
planets and the Universe. That’s also the thing, I cannot explain enough to have a mastery in the
