    Technical Instructions for special

    covers.
    Artwork requiriment:
    • Images must be in CMYK (full colour) and saved as EPS or TIFF format.
    • Text in own font can not be modified, unless a folder including all the fonts (Mac
    format) will be provided.
    • Resolution: 300 DPI (high resolution)
    • PMS colours can not be accepted (silver and gold included)
    • Matt finish, UVI, ... or any different finish than shiny are not accepted.
    • For Special covers, we can accept claims on colour finish on logotype only when
    a match print has been provided.

    Extra requirements for own cover:


    • Files must be in Illustrator, Freehand, InDesign, Quark Xpress (Mac Format is
    preferred). Please include a low res PDF file to check if the design has not been
    damaged).
    • The file must have a bleed of 5 mm on all sides.
    • We need a match print of the cover (as a reference for printing). If it’s not
    provided we won’t be responsible for claims on printed colours.
    • Size of covers: 210 x 245 mm.
    • Centre the artwork cover on the canvas size as horizontal as vertical.
