Costumes

Ed Robinson-Enigma Films
Our AIM
• Costumes are a key part to creating a realistic look to the
production, we wanted to make the costumes suit their
character as well as the weather, terrain and situation. We
also had two characters being played by one person, so
we had to take that into account and make sure the
audience could tell the difference.
Juan Renaldo González
• A Renowned gang leader
Juan Renaldo appears in
our production wearing
smart casual, in a suit and
shirt but no tie to show that
he has wealth but takes his
work lightly, and is not
phased by killing people.
Jonathon
• Jonathon is the hero. An
average man in his early 20’s
he’s wondered off into an
abandoned quarry after having
an argument with his girl
friend. He wears casual but
stylish clothes to show his age
and the fact that he follows
high-street fashion insists he
is not overly wealthy, we use
this to contrast to his enemy
González.
News reader
• We wanted the newsreader
to look genuine so we put
him wearing standard news
reader attire in a shirt and
tie, we decided against the
suit jacket as our news
room looked as if it was a
less formal new channel.
Henchmen
• We wanted the henchmen to wear
practical clothing for their
profession in contrast to their boss
Gonzalez. This would show that
they are the ones that do all the
dirty work and obviously that they
are less wealthy. We decided for
him to wear his hood up in order to
look more menacing.
Government official
• As Richard played this character as well as the news
reader, we chose to make him a silhouette so that the
audience wouldn't’t notice. He wore a suit and held a
clipboard in order to look official.
The friend
• We wanted the friend to have a
similar style to Jonathon as he
would be in the same friend group
who usually have the same
interests as each other.
