In crime /action films characters are normally well
dressed and are normally holding weapons. We
often see that the protagonist is normally wearing
a suit and holding a pistole. the suit is normally
black with them wearing a white shirt and tie.
They normally wear a hint of red on there costume
to suggest blood shed and danger, the weapon is
there as well to leave inimaga, as the audience
will be confused and unaware of the person the
protagonist has killed with the murder weapon
if a woman is present as the main character of
the crime/ action, then the women will be dress in
a formal, tight fitting dress, with the murder
weapon tuck away and hidden some where on
there body.
The tight dress and lipstick sexualise the female
protagonist, which make it easier for the women to
bring in her male targets.
Dark shadows around the eyes are enhanced to
make the criminal appear more sinister

from gangs such as the Italian mafia
that were dressed smartly to
present there riches, to make big
block buster films, mean while
recently they have been current
ganster/ crime/action film more
about young teenagers in tracksuits
and the aspiration to make a lot of
money running around there block
doing jobs to make money
