Hazrat Abu Bakr(R.A) narrates that Rasool
Allah(SAW) said, "Should I tell you the greatest among the deadly sins," I said, "Why not? Ya Rasool Allah(SAW)." He said, " Associating partners with Allah Ta'ala, disobedience of Parents and said, "Beware of lying"... he kept on repeating this for such a long time that we started hoping that he would end and talk to us another topic." Samura bin Jundub relates that the
Prophet(SAW) said, "I saw(in dream),two men came to me.“ "They said, `The person, the one whose cheek you saw being torn was a liar and used to tell lies and the people would report those lies on his authority till they spread all over the world. Abu Bakra(RA) narrates Prophet(BPUH) said,
"Shall I not inform you of the biggest of the great sins?" We said, "Yes, O Prophet." He said, "To join partners in worship with Allah; to be undutiful to one's parents and I warn you against giving a false statement and a false witness; I warn you against giving a forged statement and a false witness."
