Rubric for RJ Final Project:

Up to ten points for each yes – unless otherwise indicated.

Category 1: Performance
Activity 1 – Reciting
Yes No Category
Ten lines were recited (20 pts).
The student did not use a script as a prompt or call for line (15 pts).
The student did not stumble over most of the piece (15 pts).

Activity 2 – Video
Yes No Category
An entire scene from the play has been performed.
No script was used.
Props and costumes were used.
All students actually acted out the scene.
All students clearly understood what was happening in their scene.

Category 2: Creative/Writing
Activity 1: Gravestone
Yes No Category
Gravestones were made for 3 characters (15 pts).
The epitaphs are written in perfect iambic pentameter (15 pts).
The epitaphs demonstrate understanding of the character.
The materials used enhance the effort to create something that looks like and actual gravestone.

Activity 2: Movie Poster
