SRM/Sir,

This is regarding the vacancies caused in the MTS Cadre in the year 2009 &
2010. Kindly see the RO letter p/s in this regard. The Recruitment rules for filling
up of MTS has been revised and directed to intimate the vacancies as per the
revised Latest Recruitment Rules.

In the latest recruitment rules, for Operative offices, 50% vacancies has to
fill from GDS on the basis of selection cum seniority, 25% of vacancies has to fill up
on the basis of Competitive examination restricted to GDS and 25% of vacancies
has to fill up with Casual labourers on the basis of selection-cum-seniority.

The total no. of vacancies ariased in the year 2009 = 2. The vacancies were
caused due to the following:

Y.Sreeramulu – 31.05.2009. (Retirement)


V.Nagaraju -- 30.04.2009. (Retirement)

The total no. of vacancies ariased in the year 2010 = 5. The vacancies were
caused due to the following reasons:

B.Gurushanti – 31.05.2010 (Retirement)


M.Govindarajulu II – 30.06.2010 (Retirement)
S.Mahaboob vali – 30.06.2010 (Retirement)
S.Rajasekhar - 01.09.2010 (Expired)
D.Ramakrishna Reddy - 26.05.2010 (Promoted to MG Cadre)

In addition there is one Incoming Rule-38 transfer i.e. Sri A.Govinda Rajulu,
MM has came into AG Dn under Rule-38 in the year 2010 and joined at HRO
Guntakal on 26.10.10. Hence after considering this incoming post, the vacancies
arised in the year 2010 will work to 4 vacancies only.

Hence as per the latest recruitment rules, the vacancies reserved to each
category is as follows:

Hence for the year 2009 two vacancies, one vacancy has been reserved for
GDS under selection cum seniority and other one vacancy reserved for GDS subject
to Competitive Examination. For the year 2010 four vacancies, 2 vacancies have
been reserved for GDS under selection cum seniority and one vacancy reserved for
GDS subject to Competitive Examination and other one vacancy reserved for casual
labourers on the basis of selection cum seniority.

We may perhaps inform the same to RO for information and further disposal.
