1. Atman- Atman is a Sanskrit word that means ‘self’ in Hinduism
2. Avatar- in Hinduism, avatar is the incarnation of an immortal Being.
3. Bhakti- Bhakti, in Hinduism, teaches the path love and devotion as opposed to the path of
knowledge.
4. Brahma- Brahma is the Hindu god of all creation.
5. Brahman- in Hinduism, Brahman is the supreme universal Spirit that is the origin and
support of the phenomenal universe.
6. Brahmin- Brahmin is a member of the priestly class in the Indian subcontinent and
belongs to the upper caste society.
7. Guru- Guru is one who is regarded as having great knowledge.
8. Krishna- Krishna is a central figure of Hinduism and its traditionally attributed the
authorship.
9. Meditation- Meditation refers to any of a family of practices in which the practitioner
trains his or her mind or self-induces a mode.
10. Om- Om is of paramount importance in Hinduism. This symbol, which represents both
the unmanifest and manifest aspects of God.
11. Samsara- Samsara is seen as ignorance of the True Self, Brahman, and thus the soul is led
to believe in the reality of the temporal, phenomenal world.

16. Vishnu- Vishnu is the Supreme God in the Vaishnavite tradition of Hinduism.

creation.
18. Kshatriyas- Kshatriyas is one of the four varnas in Hinduism.
