Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies invites applications from suitable candidates for the
posts

a) Chief Engineer/Consulting Engineer( 1),

b) Deputy Executive Engineer(3),
c) Lecturer( Classical Carnatic Music-6, Kuchipudi Dance-6, Mrudangam-6, Economics-9,
Psychology-6, Philosophy-2, Business Management-9)
d) Staff Nurse(6).
The positions will be filled on contract basis (fresh/retired) or on deputation (working), initially for one
year and extendable for three years.The filled in application along with Demand Draft of Rs.300( Rs.200
for SC/ST) for posts ‘a’ , ‘b’ and c, Rs. 200/-(Rs.100/- for SC/ST) for post ‘d’ and other enclosures has to
be sent to the Registrar, RGUKT, Vindya C4, IIIT, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, 500032 on or before 20-5-
2011.
Salary will be as follows:

a) Contract appointment : Chief Engineer/Consulting Engineer- Rs. 40,000/-p.m. (Consolidated),

Deputy Executive Engineer- Rs. 30,000/-p.m. (Consolidated), Lecturer Rs.30,000/-pm(
consolidated), Staff Nurse- Rs. 10,000/-p.m.(Consolidated).
b) For those who taken on deputation, their existing pay will be protected
c) For retired persons, their last pay excluding pension and other allowances if any will be
protected.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews and the selected candidates shall be in a position
to join immediately.

4 Lecturer in Classical I. Good academic record with at least 55% of Marks(or equivalent grade
Carnatic Music-6 , in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s
Lecturer in Kuchipudi Degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an
Dance-6, Indian/Foreign University.
Lecturer in Mrudangam-6 II. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidate must have cleared
the National Eligibility Test(NET) for lecturers conducted by UGC, CSIR,
or Similar test accorded by the UGC.
III. NET/SLET/SET not be required for such Master Programmes in
disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

OR

I. A traditional and a professional artist with highly commendable

professional achievement in the concerned subject, who should have:

a) Studied under noted/reputed traditional masters and has

thorough knowledge to explain the subject concerned.
b) A high grade artist of AIR/TV; and
c) Ability to explain the logical reasoning of the subject
concerned and adequate knowledge to teach theory with
illustrations in that discipline.

5 Lecturer in Economics-9,
Lecturer in Psychology-6,
Lecturer in Philosophy-2,
I. Good academic record with atleast 55% of Marks(or equivalent grade
in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s
Degree level, in the releavant subject or an equivalent degree from an
Indian/Foreign University.
II. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have
cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR
or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

6 Lecturer in Business I. First Class or equivalent in Masters Degree in Business Administration

Management-9 or equivalent. And 2 years of relevant experience is desirable.
