Tempe, AZ- Arizona based company; Nyla Simone Home has been selected as one of twenty businesses to
attend the inaugural ³Workshop at Macy¶s´ in New York City from May 9th-13th 2011. Chief Furniture
Enthusiast and Owner Maria Benson was delighted to hear that her company was selected for the workshop
after she interviewed in front of Macy¶s top executives in March.

The Workshop at Macy¶s is a comprehensive retail vendor development program designed to educate, prepare, and
mentor high potential business owners. Participants will be able to develop strategic planning, understand the
important components to brand strategy and understand what¶s necessary to build a successful relationship with the
merchant team. The objective with this program is to establish Macy¶s as an innovative retailer that cultivates small
business while increasing revenue and profitability ± and the ultimate goal is to become the benchmark for Retail
Supplier Diversity.

The 4.5 day training course will end with a capstone presentation where each company will present their product
line to Macy¶s executives to determine viability of doing business with Macy¶s. Sean John and Carol¶s Daughter are
