Painter Workshop 2011


College Pro Painters, JSMs, and Franchisees 2011:

This letter is being sent to give you some information on your upcoming orientation / training session.

The purpose of this session is to train painters and job site managers on the basics of your summer job, specifically job
site management, customer relations, paperwork, payroll, safety, promotion opportunities, and keys to a successful
summer. Logistics for the session are as follows:

WHERE: Clarion Hotel and Conference Center

314 West Bijou St

Colorado Springs, CO 80905

WHEN: Saturday, May 21st @ 8AM and 1PM The session will run between 3 and 4 hours, check with your
franchisee to see what session you will be attending .

ATTIRE: Business Casual - Collared shirt and nice pants (equivalent for ladies)

** PREPARATION – IMPORTANT**
1. Watch Training Video’s online and pass safety test (both located in “Painter Place”).
2. Complete all hiring paperwork online (w4/I9 forms and Safety page) and submit to your FM prior to the session.
Consult your FM for details. Also located in painter place.
3. Purchase Steel Toed Work Boots/shoes and Painter Pants/shorts. Consult your FM for details.

Typically, these sessions are only as good as the preparation and timeliness by the participants. This session has been
designed for your summer success so please be complete with you preparation and BE ON-TIME to the session!
