DuraSystems’ Model GNX was selected to provide a 2-hour Fire resistance protection for diesel fuel oil lines
which were required to be relocated up an exposed air shaft. Utilizing this patented system’s unique double wall
feature enabled an easy decision to protect these fuel lines in the exposed shaft. As the Model GNX has a
galvanized external shell and internal liner, it will withstand years of punishment by the elements. Other systems
being offered would be easily damaged, manipulated by rain or snow or become an assembly that could promote
the growth of mould.

DuraDuct GNX is an easy to install single source solution ideal for use in exposed areas.

The Royal Conservatory’s Toronto home is the technologically sophisticated TELUS Centre for Performance
and Learning. This stunning new building represents a vibrant cultural destination and a wonderful resource,
transforming the Conservatory into the heart of creative education for the nation. Designed by Kuwabara
Payne McKenna Blumberg Architects, the new structure features new academic, administrative and
performance spaces, a new rehearsal hall, as well as restoration of its 19th-century heritage building known as
Ihnatowycz Hall.
