_______ (10 points) SOLVING THE SHOOTING ASSIGNMENT

 I have created at least 24 exposures that can be combined together to form a narrative panorama
using principles of composition to illustrate a simple story or event.
 I have experimented with a variety of shooting considerations as stated in the assignment: using
light & shadow effectively, setting up props/directing characters, and using contrasting points-
of-view.

_______ (10 points) FILM EXPOSURE/USING YOUR CAMERA

I have bracketed my exposures with a variety of apertures and shutter speeds to successfully expose my
film in different lighting situations.
I have used a tripod or stationary surface to keep my camera at a consistent height and point of view (if
necessary) while taking my pictures to allow me to connect them together as a panorama.
My photos are sharp, clean, and clear. They have a strong range of values.

Questions (To Be Answered in your Sketchbook)

Directions: Please respond to each question in your sketchbook using complete sentences & complete
thoughts!
1) Look at your contact sheet and carefully cut out the exposures you’d like to use. Carefully line them up
and glue them together to create a panorama.
2) Beneath your panorama, describe the story you are trying to illustrate.
3) Explain how you used principles of composition and/or contrasting points of view to make your story
more interesting.
4) Does your panorama effectively illustrate your story? If not, what’s missing from the story? How can
your panorama be taken further? Sketch out these potential improvements next to your panorama.
