Read the textbook on page 238-239 on Dodging and Burning

1. Define and what dodging and burning mean (5 points).

2. Explain when/how these tools are used (5 points).

3. Make a dodger and a burner with cardboards (10 points).

4. Look through your contact sheets and choose one photo to burn and another
photo to dodge.

5. Print each photo at a normal time without dodging or burning. Then draw on
the photo indicating which areas you will dodge or burn. Write how many
seconds you will add or subtract time. (10 points)

6. Print each photo again, but this time you dodge and burn. Tip: It is essential
to move your dodger and burner so that the edges are soft and unnoticeable
(20 points).
