Why Fear?

The moment you thought life is over, then, everything had just begun. The truth is life is never easy.
Failures here and there will happen. In modern society where almost everyone is judged by their
financial success, where the rich and famous represents happiness, where money represents freedom
and power, and where greed had taken over the lifeblood of societies, the poor and the weak are
oppressed and suppressed. It’s too sad that people on power put themselves too high that they can’t
hear powerless people down below. This shouldn’t be the case, man are given intellect, riches and
power to help and protect the weak and helpless.

It’s not all about money. We can be poor in money but live a life with purpose. In a relationship, money
does not determine how much love u can give and receive. Money is necessary but it can never buy
faith, hope and love. Genuine friends, people who stick to you thru thick and thin, people who lift you
up when your down, those with you when everyone else have left you, those who hold your hand tight
when you fail, people who wipe your tears and hug you, people who put your heart together when its
broken, people who never leave you despite you told them to, those who never get tired of loving you,
those who understand and feel your pain, those who strengthen you when you are weak, and those
people who will give their life for you, all of them doesn’t need your money, all they want is YOU, the
marvelous person despite being weak, depressed and broken.

The truth is we are just afraid. Fear is a persistent disease that eats our strength. Fear is like a seed that
we plant in ourselves. It grows and flourished in our souls depending on how we cultivate and feed it. It
could become a big tree that will bear the fruit of doubt, loneliness, and purposeless life. But like any
other tree, the tree of fear we put in ourselves can be cut down. It is only when we overcome our fears
that we become totally free. It is only during this time that we find the real truth on who we really are.
As fear is like a “dust” that covers our eyes, without it we can see things clearly, choose a better path for
our lives, and live a purpose driven life.

It is only when we become fearless that we discover how powerful we are beyond measure, how
marvelous, beautiful, loving, truthful, courageous and majestic we are. So if being fearless means being
the person who can love without conditions, someone who can help others without waiting for
something in return, someone who protects his friends and respects his enemies, someone who
patiently gives chances to broken hearts and weakened souls, someone who understand the pain and
suffering of others, someone who puts his life on the line for his friends, then, why fear?
