When entering the bathroom say:

‫الله م إني أعوذ بك من الخبث والخبائث‬

“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils.”

When leaving the bathroom say:

‫غفرانك‬
“[I seek] Your Forgiveness.”
 When entering the bathroom say:

‫الله م نإ ي أعوذ بك من ال خبث وال خبئا ث‬

“Bismillãhi, Allaahumma innee a’oodhubika min
al-khubuthi wa-l-khabaa ith.”

“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils.”

When leaving the bathroom say:

‫غفرانك‬
“Gufraanaka”

“[I seek] Your Forgiveness.”

When beginning to make wudhu:

‫بسم ال‬
“In the name of Allah”

After completing wudhu:

‫ده ل شريك له‬,‫ه د أن ل لإ ه إل الله وح‬,‫أش‬

‫ده ورسوله‬,‫ا عب‬1‫ه د أن محمد‬,‫و أش‬
“I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah,
alone, without any partner with Him. And I bear witness
that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.”
When beginning to make wudhu:

‫ب سم ال‬
“Bismi llah”

“In the name of Allah”

After completing wudhu:

‫ده ل شريك له‬,‫ه د أن ل إله إل الله وح‬,‫أش‬

‫ده ور سوله‬,‫ا عب‬1‫ه د أن محمد‬,‫و أش‬
“Ashhadu an l aa ilaaha illa-llaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa
ashhadu anna muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasool uhu.”

“I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah,

alone, without any partner with Him. And I bear witness
that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.”
 Upon entering the home:

‫نا‬,‫م ال خرج‬,‫ و بس‬، ‫ ا‬,‫ج‬

‫م ال ول ن‬,‫ب س‬
‫وعل ى ربنا توكل نا‬
“In the name of Allah we enter and in the name of Allah
we leave and upon our Lord we place our trust.”

Upon leaving the house:

‫ توك لت على ال و ل‬، ‫م ال‬,‫بس‬

‫ل ول قو ة إل بال‬,‫حو‬
“In the name of Allah. I put my trust in Allah.
There is no movement or power except in Allah.”
 Upon entering the home:

‫نا‬,‫م ال خرج‬,‫ و بس‬، ‫ ا‬,‫ج‬

‫م ال ول ن‬,‫ب س‬
‫وعل ى ربنا توكل نا‬
“Bismillahi walajnaa, wa bismillahi kharajnaa, wa 'ala
Allahi Rabbinaa Tawakkalna”

“In the name of Allah we enter and in the name of Allah

we leave and upon our Lord we place our trust.”

Upon leaving the house:

‫ تو كلت على ال ول‬، ‫م ال‬,‫بس‬

‫ل ول قو ة إل بال‬,‫حو‬
“Bismillah, tawakkal tu `al ã 'allãh, lã hawla wa
lã quwwata 'illã bil -lãhi.”

“In the name of Allah. I put my trust in Allah.

There is no movement or power except in Allah.”
