Call for Papers


Journal of International Students is an educational journal published by the NSA at Arkansas
State University. The Journal publishes quality and original research papers/articles, book
reviews, and non-research articles and so on written by students, teachers, staff and community
members in Jonesboro and around the U.S.

Publication Schedule - will be published twice a year (Fall and Spring).

JONSA encourages the following types of submissions:

Research Papers
o Completed research papers in any areas related to international students, their
learning styles, and health & adjustment issues.
Abstracts
o Abstracts of completed or proposed research in any of the topic areas related to
teaching and learning, cross-cultural experiences of teachers and students,
international students, and their abroad experiences.
Student Papers
o Research papers written by students (graduate/undergraduate) in any topic their
interest i.e. terms papers, final essays, and individual research
Work-in-Progress Reports or Proposals for Future Research
o Incomplete research or ideas for future research in order to generate discussion
and feedback in any topics of student affairs.

Submission Guidelines
Please submit your articles in a Word document (12 point size font, APA/MLA) to the Assistant
Editors at center.asu@gmail.com.
Deadlines: October 5, 2011
