PRINTING & BINDING SPECIFICATIONS

• Students need to prepare a total of four copies.

o Hard Binding as Original
o Two Vello bound copies as additional copies
o One copy for the student.
o The student’s copy should be available with him /her at the Dissertation
Challenge.
• Hard binding should be black /dull Rexene with printing in gold as per specimen
attached.
• The Dissertation Project title would appear on the spine – shown as a side print in the
specimen.
• Type Font:
o Titles – Time New Roman 18 (Bold)
o Detail - Time New Roman 16 (Normal)
• Titles and detail to appear in upper / lower font.
• Vello Binding of addition copies
o Strip should white, black or dark blue
o Vello Binding is done by 2 shops in the Clifton area
 Shaheed Photocopy Shop, Clifton, Near Paradise Super Market, Opp
Motas.

• Students should ensure the following documents are included in their submission prior to
binding to conform to the University requirements.
• Thesis Acceptance. signed by the Supervisor
• A certificate issued by the Supervisor stating completion and acceptance of the
research report
• A completed Request for Confidentiality of Thesis if the thesis is Confidential.
• Declaration of Originality of Dissertation & acknowledgment of assistance
• Copy of print attached herewith for your guidance.
