What is pipe power used for?

Pipe power is used to generate electricity.

How does it work?

This works by putting a mini turbine in a pipe with running
water and attach it to a generator so that it generates
electricity. You can then you can use the electricity generated

What inspired us?

Lincoln & Ha-young

I decided to make a way of water pumping through pipes to generate

electricity because I think it would be a waste to let that running water
go to waste when you could be using it to generate electricity by
putting a turbine in the pipes to make them spin. If you attach the
turbine to a generator, to generate electricity it can make up for the
money you spend to get the electricity to pump that water around and
if you have a ton of turbines and generator it could even give you extra
electricity. It will work and save money.

Why should you use this?

You should use this because it saves electricity and it does not
pollute in the process. This device makes money saves money
for the people who install and manufacture the product as well
as saving money for those who have this installed. It thus
makes everyone happy and helps every one and the economy.
It positively affects society and human well being because if you
save fossil fuel created electricity you are thus not polluting and
helping nature to maintain a balanced carbon cycle in which the
air is clean. Clean air leads to less disease than carbon filled air.

Back Ground information about Hydro

Power

Some people use hydro power to generate electricity. Hydro

power produces energy which is eco-friendly.
Hydro power is created when moving water turns a turbine and
a generator changes the moving energy into electricity. The
generator works because, the generator is a simple device that
moves a magnet near a pipe/wire to create a steady flow of
electrons. The generator has two magnets opposite from each
other north and south. Then when the pipe spins it spins the
magnets because the pipe is connected to the magnets. The
spinning magnets make the electrons move. The moving
electrons are funneled into the electric wires, generating
electricity.
Hydro power is sold to various places and used to power up
anything from light to entire stores and more.
Hydro power is generated mostly in dams or in tidal currents
and other forms of moving water.
In all, hydro power is a very useful form of generating electricity
and can be used almost anywhere there is moving water.
But imagine if you put multiple mini turbines and generators
into the pipes it will be able to pay for the amount of money
spent pumping that water around the pipes or at least some of
it to save money.
Our Model
What experiments have we done to test
the efficiency of this product?
We also found out in an experiment that the more
concentrated the water that is falling , the faster the turbine
spins. We discovered this by pouring water through thinner and
wider pipes and the thinner ones spun the turbine faster and
for longer using the same amount of water.

Conclusion
All together I think Pipe Power would help us a lot and it would
be good for us to use it. It helps save electricity and money it
