LCS Lite – Installation Guide

Please read the following introduction carefully before installation. The described system requirements
and installation procedures are absolutely necessary for proper operation of LCS Lite. Improper
installation may cause damage to your system or loss of data.

Requirements
The following items represent minimum hardware requirements.

Computer
• Pentium-class PC (200 MHz or higher recommended)
• 64 megabytes of RAM (128 MB recommended)
• 80 megabytes of free disk space during setup, 60 MB after setup
• Super VGA monitor (screen resolution 1280 x 1024 recommended, at least
800x600, large fonts setting)

Display properties:
1 card of 4 MB: 1280 x 1024 pixel
2 cards of 4 MB: 2560 x 1024 pixel
1 card of 8 MB: 1600 x 1200 pixel
2 cards of 8 MB: 3200 x 1200 pixel
• Color quality: Highest (32 bit)

Software
To install and run LCS Lite, you should have the following software:
• Windows NT 4.0 (Intel) service Pack 6 or later
• Windows XP operating system
• Administrative rights (on Windows NT)
• Internet Explorer Version 5 (MSIE5) or higher.

How to use LCS Lite and LCS simultaneously on a single workstation:

• You can use both programs independently on a single workstation. Please
make sure to have installed a higher version than 2.770 of LCS before
installing the LCS Lite program on the same computer, otherwise prior
installed versions of LCS will fail to run!
