RESPONDENT PROFILE:
The database of the user segment will be provided according to the centre. The
following criteria make up the respondent profile:
1. Meet to senior level employee in the organization /premises
2. Employed in the either of the engineering, maintenance or the purchase
department at the branch office / corporate level.
3. Interacting with cooling tower supplier either directly or through consultant
appointed for designing the premises.

DETAILS OF THE QUESTIONNAIRE:

The questionnaire consists of six sections namely:


1. Cooling tower application- captures the details of the first time purchase/replaced
cooling tower which are installed in the premises, reason for the replacement and
change in the brand of cooling tower during replacement.
2. Purchase process: captures the decision making process during the purchase of the
cooling tower, the role of the various stake holders during the decision making process,
the factors affecting the decision making process and the selection of the vendor, the
process of vendor selection and the satisfaction level of the user with the currently
installed cooling tower.
3. Post purchase: captures the after sales service arrangement with the vendor of the
cooling tower, typical issues faced during the operation and maintenance of the cooling
tower and the satisfaction level of the user with the after sales service provided by the
service provider.
4. Replacement- captures the frequency of the replacement of different components of
cooling tower, the process of replacement and the party involved in process.
5. Industry details- captures the details of the segment to which the respondent belongs
to, like, the zonal distribution of the segments, expected growth of the segments and
the key barriers for the growth of the particular segments.
6. Profiling- captures the basics details of the premises where the interview is being
conducted, like, the total constructed area of the premises, the number of floors/rooms
and the maximum number of people that the premises can handle.
