People nowadays are exposed to various types of technologies.

Cars, airplanes, and subways are

examples of technologies in transportation whereas hand phones, laptops, iPods, and computers are
devices that can help us to communicate with anyone at any time that we want. These technologies can
help us to get through one’s busy life currently. Everything is at our fingertips. Anything can be done
within a short period. This goes the same with our house. House is the place where we spend most of
our time with our beloved family. In the Longman’s dictionary of Contemporary English house is define
as a place to provide someone to live in it. Everybody needs a cozy and safe-guaranteed house as a
protection for them and their family. Thus, I’ve invented a futuristic house that is totally suitable for a
family called Boomba House

This house is located in a spacious compound dotted with fruit trees, flowering shrubs and
bushes and also near to the beach. I am going to retain the pristine look of the surroundings as to
ensure our mother nature is not polluted. It has three levels with 12 room’s altogether. The house is
coated with gold and shiny colour. At the roof of the house, solar panels are installed as half of the
energy consume in the house are from the solar energy. This way, we can reduce using the electricity.
With the advance in computer technology, I am going to use the sensory security system. This security
system is installed at the main doors of the house. Those who want to enter the house need to use
certain part of their body such as thumbs, eyes to unlock the security system. The increasing number of
unsolved home burglaries can be reduced using this security system because it will ensure a top security
to the house and the family.

The first room that I’m going to describe is the living room. The living room is a spacious place
where a family can hangout, chatting and do others relaxing activities together. This room will be
provided with an LCD television, a big fluffy sofa and a few antics furniture. At the right corner, a ‘coffee
shop’ is set up. This is where men can sit on their sofa chat about business, football, government and
families. The womenfolk would be glued to their soup operas in front of the big television. Besides, a big
bookshelf consists of numerous types of books including novels, biography and motivation books will be
placed at the left corner. This will instill the ‘reading habit’ in each member of family.

Next, is the kitchen. The kitchen will be womenfolk pride’s and joy as they love to cook very
much. My future house will have a wide kitchen that has a futuristic feature. One of the obvious feature
is it has hologram maids that will help doing the chorus. The hologram maids can reduce the mother’s
burden when cooking. Hand in hand, with the hologram maid a family can eat leisurely while the
hologram maids clean the dishes and the kitchen. What more can one asks for? The kitchen is equipped
with the latest gadgets imaginable as example a multifunction oven. This multifunction oven can be used
to cook any type of food at any temperature. A family meal is important as it helps family members to
close the bond. This is the time when we can get together and exchange ideas. A suitable dining room is
needed for that. This house’s dining room has a big dining table that can change its shape according to
one’s wish. In addition, the dining room and the kitchen have a special feature which is can change its
theme. As for the kitchen, the theme change according to the type of the food that is cook at that
moment. For example, if you are cooking a traditional Malay food at that moment, the theme will
change to a traditional kitchen.

Beyond the sitting and the dining areas, there were 6 bedrooms with different size and shape.
After a whole day working, a cozy and comfortable bedroom will be a please thing to rest our body. They
were furnished haphazardly with unique and modern furniture placed side by side. A multi-purpose bed
is provided in each of the room. This bed can also be used as a sofa. One’s can change the shape of the
bed by pressing a button at the head of the bed. This room will be installed with a remote controller
system. We just have to use a remote controller to open or close all the windows and doors in each of
the rooms. Every room will be provided with a remote controller. The remote controller is placed
against the wall like the air conditioner‘s remote controller. Every morning one’s just need to press the
button to open the shutters and the windows to let in the morning freshness. It is easy and simple.

The house will be provided with a prayer room. The prayer room is situated at the third floor of
the house. The walls are decorated with stylized foliage motifs, Arabic inscription, and arabesque design
work, with the walls covered in glazed tile. A unique bookshelf will be put to keep all the al-Quran and
Islamic books. The prayer room has an automatic cleaner that will cleaning the room. It will absorb all
the dust and rubbish. Besides, the prayer room has a digital Quran. The digital Quran has translations to
numerous language such as English, Chinese, and Italy. Thus, everybody can understand it whatever
races he is. The digital Quran also has a feature which is recital azan every time the times for pray
comes.

The last part of the house is the bathroom. The design of a bathroom must account for the use
of both hot and cold water, in significant quantities for cleaning human body. Ceiling, wall and floor
materials and coverings should be impervious to water and readily and easily cleaned. The use of
ceramic or glass, as well as smooth plastic materials, is common in bathrooms for their ease of cleaning.
Electrical appliances, such as lights, heaters and heated tower rails, generally need to be installed as
fixtures, with permanent connections rather than plugs and sockets. Besides, the pipe that is used for
the bathroom in Boomba house the sensory pipe. One needs to put their hands under the pipe. The
water will automatically flow when heat is detected under the pipe. The bathroom will also be provided
with a big television and a bathtub. One can relax in the bathtub while watching their favorite shows.

In the future, like everything else there are advantages and disadvantages of this future house. I
feel like the advantages are far outweighing the disadvantages. The future house that I’ve invented will
be very helpful to the owner as it has many futuristic facilities that will reduce the chorus that they need
to do at home. In addition, this Boomba house can reduce the pollution that is happening currently.
