What: You can make JPEG announcements and post them to your
class.
How: Create the announcement on one PowerPoint slide. Save the
announcement as “JPEG file interchange format” (this will save the
entire slide as an image). Then, load the announcement into the
course web site like you would any other image.
Why: This allows you post an attractive and stylized announcement
with ease.

To Post and Announcement in the Classroom


 Enter “Author Mode” like you normally would
 Click “Add New Announcement” and enter announcement title
 Click “Add an Image” icon – a dialogue box will open
 Choose “I need to upload the file”
 Add descriptive text in the box provided
 Scroll to the bottom of the dialogue box
 Browse for the appropriate file and click “Open”
 Click “Add Link”
 Click “Post Announcement”
