Ruwais Hospital trip opens eyes for Al Abbas students

On Wednesday November 24th the students committee of Al Abbas visited the

ADNOC Ruwais Hospital where a lecture about healthy habits and the common
diseases of the century and how to prevent the infections was arranged by the
AQC, principal, social worker, SLC and the hospital management in order to
cover the main theme of this term in our school which is “Healthy life styles”.

At their arrival, Dr. Jinan the hospital manager welcomed the students and
took them on a tour around the different departments of the hospital where
they had the chance to meet some of the patients, talk with them and offer
them chocolate as a greeting for Eid Al Adha and the coming National Day.

Afterwards Dr. Jinan held his lecture about the healthy life styles, how to keep
the body fit and healthy and about the various ways of protection from the
infectious diseases and the proper treatment methods. After the presentation
the students had the chance to ask the doctor many questions in relation to
the subjects.

This field visit helped our students to know, learn and collect more valuable
information about health problems that our surrounding us these days while
opening their eyes on the serious threats of some unhealthy habits.
