BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The sample for a research study on Dilemma in choosing courses in universities among account students in KMPP ,consist 42 students. These students were required to answer the questionnaire to provide the research same knowledge about the participants. They consist of male and female account students from four different races, namely Malay ,Chinese ,Indians ,others and different CGPA for semester 1 2010/2011, which is 4 flat and below. One of the methods of collecting data is through questionnaires were distributed to 42 account students of KMPP. The data through questionnaire were analyzed to determine how many account students in KMPP know what to do in the future especially in choosing courses in universities. The data obtained through this questionnaire has been analyzed using descriptive statistics mainly the frequencies and graph. The first part of the questionnaire asked about the respondents demography. So, the students or respondents profile is as below.

TABLE 1 RESPONDENT PROFILE

Referring to Table 1,the number of respondent is 42, 12 male and 30 female account students. Therefore ,the percentage of male is 28.57%and percentage of female is 71.43%. The students s were from different races, which is 29 students from Malay, 10 students from Chinese and 3 students from other races. The students got different CGPA for semester 1 2010/2011, 11 students scored 1.00-1.99, 14 students scored 3.00 until 3.99 and 17 students scored 4.00 flat. These students were from the same courses account.

The second part of the questionnaire asked questions about dilemma in choosing courses in universities. The analysis of the question are as below:

Referring to Table 2, the majority of the students chose strongly disagree (SD) as the answer on My peers influenced my choices. The most significant percentage is 50 percent which is chose agree (A) as the answer on question 1 I know what I want to do in in the future.

The analysis were chosen at random, The analysis of 5 most significant frequencies and the percentage is as below:

Based on the table above, 2 students out of 42 chose strongly disagree (SD) as the answer. It means they did not know what they want to do in the future. 11 students chose neutral

(N) as the answer to show that they know what they want to do in the future. Another 8 students chose strongly agree (SA) to show that they confident and surely know what they want to do in the future.
