TheDOLEKabuhayanStarterKitProjectforReturningWomenOFWsisatrainingcum employmentinterventionintendedtobringaboutimprovedsocioeconomicwellbeing ofReturningWomenOFWs. TheProjectwillprovideapackageoflivelihoodstarterkitsconsistingofservices that will enable the target beneficiaries to start quickly a livelihood undertaking and become selfemployed. It also aims to engage them in sustainable selfemployment through easy to learn livelihood undertakings and provide them with different soft skillsthatwillprovidethemwithincomegeneratingopportunities.

Services
The Project implementers shall provide thefollowingmajorservices: Shortperiod training on production skills with entrepreneurship and businessmanagement Provision of livelihood tools, equipment,materialsandinputs Provision of continuing marketing linkage and networking services, business advisory and consultancy services Job referral system covering local labor markets to ensure the employability of targetwomenbeneficiaries Access to existing Social Protection Services like SSS, Phil Health and other alternativesocialprotectionschemesassoonasthebusinesscycleallowsit.

Objectives
ToenablethedisplacedwomenOFWs To plan, setup, start and operate a livelihood undertaking by providing them with readytogo, quick rollout selfemployment package of services, consisting of shortgestation trainings, startup kits, business counseling and technical and marketing assistance services;and

PriorityProjects

To be multiskilled through access to training services/assistance by training institutions like TESDA, Departmentof Tradeand Industry, TechnologyResource CenterandtheAgriculturalTrainingInstitute.

EligibleBeneficiaries
The Project targets the Returning Women OFWs and gives priority to those displaced by the hostilities and conflicts in the Arab countries and other distressed and displaced women household service workers(HSWs).

The priority projects are livelihood undertaking requiring simple housetohouse serviceorientedskillswhichmaybeclusteredandpackagedsuchas: Health and Wellness (reflexology, massage, home spa, cosmetology and production of bath soap, scented oils, herbal medicine, skin/health care products) HouseRepairs(plumbing,welding,electricalservicing,appliancerepair) Food Processing (native snack preparation and other foodandbeveragesprepa ration) Personal accessories repairs and maintenance (cellular phonerepair,bagsrepair) Handicraft (souvenir items, fashion jewelry, native s l i p p e r s , b a g s a n d accessories)
