    C language is a set of instructions that allows for interaction between users and computers. There are four main types of programming languages: high-level languages like Assembly which are written in English for fast programming but slower execution, low-level languages like assembly which are between high-level and machine languages, machine language which computers can understand directly, and fourth-generation languages. C was developed to meet the need for a fully-fledged general purpose language after earlier languages like COBOL, FORTRAN, and PASCAL were limited to specific domains like business, science, or engineering.

    Introduction of c language

    Language: A set of instruction that are executed for the interation between user and computer. (OR)
    A set of instruction fold to computer what to do.

    TYPE OF LANGUAGE
    1. High level language . 2. low level language. 3. machine language. 4. Fourth level language.

    1.HLL:
    It is in the English language hence writing programe isfast but execution in it fast. EX: Assembly language.

    2.LLL:
    It is in the form of assembly language it has high level language and low level language.

    HISTORY OF C LANGUAGE
    Before 1960 we used coballanguage ,which is used only for business purpose . After this we used FORTARN language , which is used only for scientific and engineering purpose . After this we used language PASAL which is used for general oriented purpose. All the above languages are not become as a full fledged language so scientistswantsto full fledge language of by tracing like given below.
