Check the linearity of the following discrete-time systems: i) y[n] = Aex[n] ii) y[n] = sin(x[n2]) 2. a) State and proof the condition for an LTI system to be BIBO stable? Find the range for which the system h[n] = anu[n] is BIBO stable. b) Using circular convolution method, determine the linear convolution of the following sequences: x[n] = {1 , 2 , 4} and h[n] = {0 , 2 , 1}. 3. a) Define Z-transform and find the z-transform with ROC of i) x(n) = (n-3)u(n-3) ii) x(n) = -anu(-n-1) b) Define the impulse response of a system. A causal discrete-time LTI system is described by y(n)-3/4y(n-1)+1/8y(n-2) = x(n) i) Determine the system function. ii) Find the step response of the system.
