WR28 WAVEGUIDE THERMAL TERMINATION

Description
The MT7085A is designed to operate from 26.5 to 40.0 GHz and is provided with a precision MPF28 connector. This compact, reliable instrument is equally suited for both field measurements and laboratory use. The termination is maintained at 350 kelvins (77 C) by the MT151C controller. The physical temperature of the termination is maintained by a heater coil controlled by a proportional controller in the control unit responding to sensors in physical proximity to the termination. The entire termination assembly is heavily insulated to minimize the effects of the external environment. The controller and the termination are matched during calibration and are provided as a unit. The line voltage option must be specified at time of order. VSWR and noise temperature data are provided at three frequencies as shown in Specifications. Options for additional or alternate user-specified frequencies are available. A calibration report is provided with each unit.
