ZONE 1 (Wesley & Dane)

-total participants: 23 (4churches) -time started: 3PM (2PM meeting time) -Malabon North UMC Report: MUZON Capabilities: talents, support, resources Kakulangan: Learn the process on planning (nagiiba kasi ung focus nila every 3mos, accdg to nichole) Continuity hindi ganun kayos, kasi paiba iba nga ng focus, Leadership Training (commitment) MALABON NORTH Capabilities: good attendance, youth marunong magsermon, active umyf, supportive elders, resources (fund raising), able to form programs like concerts, accountability to each other MALABON CENTRAL Capabilities: friendly, magaling makisama sa mga bata, elders very supportive, advisers willing to guide everytime

ZONE 2 (Ivan & Colleen)

-total participants: 7 (4churches) -Crossroads UMC Report: GRACE Capabilities: elders are supportive, bawal magmeeting ng hindi alam, with regular activities, BS, active youth less than 20, with 50 members, halos lahat may ministry, ecumenicalism is good

CROSSROADS Capabilities: nagtutulungan, multi-media, keep in touch sa officers, magkakalapit ng bahay, kahit ilan ang umatend ng isang activity tuloy pa rin, youth service every 2nd sunday, binabalik ung upper room, devotion every sunday, fund raising, skillful, in touch with constitution, more on juniors na ung mga naglilead, can acquire funds for activities like youth camp, able to form activities such as camp Kakulangan: overfamiliarity SANDMEIER Capabilities: talents, may mga activities din na nafoform, expressive singing (talents) Kakulangan: Youth are deteriorating in numbers, large age gap, ung president 24 then ung mga sumunod nasa early teens CALLING Capabilities: Pastor is youth-oriented (present), talents Kakulangan: financial aspects *Wala pang zone coordinator Conclusion: Ok na ok sila as per local church and connection to other churches, mas priority ang local kesa district (mandatory or own choice) ****************************************** ZONE 3 (Sugar, Ena, Trish, Jacquie) -total participants: 15 (4churches out of 7) -time started: 2:30PM -Valenzuela UMC Report BAGBAGUIN Capabilities: Talents, 16 members Kakulangan: more on financial instruments

VALENZUELA Capabilities: Song composing (napapakanta na sa church), dancing, journalism, willingness to learn, leadership Request from District: Bagbaguin- Visitations, seminar sa leadership, dancing, financially broken, instruments Tencom-suporta sa mga activities nila Problem -wla ung Razon -communications ************************************* ZONE 4 (Seng & Richard) -total participants: 16 (3churches) -2hours duration Report: ST MARK Capabilities: Leadership potential is high, supportive pastor, supportive elders, talents, marunong magorganize ng events STA MESA HEIGHTS Capabilities: Evangelism (schooling pa lang, wala pa sa application), basketball (bonding) KNOX Capabilities: Music and arts, lead in our own ways, may kapasidad when it comes to financial, magaling sa Bible, magaling in terms of performing arts *Malalayo kasi geographically ang churches ng Zone5

With regards to the district execom: -Reach the local churches -Wlang impact dahil parang walang nangyayari -Connectialism (relationship) is low JhayR: winiweigh yan. For example, knox at calling, hindi sinasabing hindi na papansinin ang knox dahil kaya na nila pero mas priority ung mas nangangailangan na lokal. ******************************************

ZONE 5 (Ylah & JhayR) -total participants: 13 (5churches) Report: -may bibig. sumayaw, magsalita sa harap ng mrming tao -sinisikap gawin ang responsibilities. willing ireach out ung iba pang kabataan na nasa malayo. -expression of feelings nd others thru design (Tshirt printing) -patuloy na paglago thru regular activities -magandang bonding ng youth -monthly activity FFF, 2nd saturday fellowship, summer institute, para maintaining ng FIRE -to work on a group and make great ideas -participates on church activities like praise & worship -fund raising potentials like hair cutting -cooperation -patuloy na lumalago ang PaW ng redeem, tambourine ministry -can create activities that unite batangas umyf (north and south), 100+ youths -supportive pastors, elders Kakulangan: Financial aspect, proper training sa leadership, music, kaalaman sa Bible ay medyo mababa dahil nagfocus kami sa mga activities. But we are willing to learn more about the Bible and ung Wesleyan heritage. Regarding CI Jayvee: P150-P200 swak sa budget. kelangan pagipunan pa ng mga kbataan nmin un ng matagal. plus iba kc ung needs or concept ng batangas sa mnila. pero mganda kung makakasama kami. pwede, bt we are considering many factors. may ibang bata pa hindi papayagan. e pag sariling CI mas pnpyagan.. JhayR: for example, magiipon kayo ng hanggang sa kakayanin, tapos kmi un magsushoulder ng remaining sa reg mkkpunta kea kau? Jayvee: Pwede. Pero paguusapan pa naming kasi mas unti pa rin yung makakapunta pag ganun. JhayR: Sige, pagusapan niyo, subukan natin. ******************************************

Recommendations:

Zone 1

Kuya Floyd: established na ang zone, why dont they PUSH on the level ng mas malalaki pang activities like camps, etc. Collaboration ng mga magkapitbahay na churches, for example, magseseminar ako bout consti or leadership sa malabon central, open invitation sa ibang malapit na churches para iisang effort lng pero you are hitting 2birds in one stone.

Zone 2

Maimprove ung relationship sa member. As a zone, magkaroon din ng quarterly activity na magsasasama sama ung mga local churches.

Connectionalism, relationship

JhayR: as I see it, ok nman na sila. siguro we can suggest n mgkaroon ng structure, sriling council. ksi kaya na nila e pero hindi pa rin mawawala ung support from us.. need lng ntin mas maayos. Hindi sila pwede iseparate at bumuo ng isang district kasi part sila ng church. Unless ung mga churches mismo ang magdecide na maging isang district sila.

SHARING JhayR: So whats next? Palagay niyo ba ok na tong nakuha natin to form the CI program for 2011? Ylah: Para sakin, hindi masyadong appropriate ung ginawa nating evaluation para maform un program ng CI. Pero appropriate sya for the whole program ng district. JhayR: Sabay-sabay natin gagawin, plan na as overnight then dun natin pagusapan lahat. After makapagplan, tsaka natin kukunin ung para sa CI. Dane: Pano ung deadline? July 24. Ivan: Hindi kaya magiging redundant kung dun tau mgfofocus sa kung ano ung tinatakbo na nila ngayon (base sa data)? Kasi kung ano ung binigay nilang kailangan, un siguro ang iaaddress nila, pati ng program ng district tpos sa CI gganun din. Why not ung hindi pa natotouch ang gawin natin sa CI?? Seng: Ok naman. Since strengths naman ung nakuha natin, e di more on empowering na lang sa kanila ang gawin natin sa CI. Ivan: Baka ung nakikita nating strengths e minsan hindi. Like for example, ung pgtugtog, pero mnsan just tugtog na lng ung nngyayari. Pero sa personal na buhay hindi naman nakikita. Seng: Hindi naman. Nasa tao na kasi yun. Spiritual growth. Teka whats the point? Ivan: Ang akin lang, mas mahalaga pa rin kasi kung nagiisa ka na lang ganun pa rin ba? Dwell more on spiritual. Kuya Jaypee: Iba-iba kasi ung dealing satin. JhayR: Basta ang mahalaga pa rin naman e ung, To know Christ and make Him known. Jaypee: Tignan muna natin Big picture muna. Bago magdecide kung ok na ba ung ngawa. Mark: Sharing of visions pa rin tayo para sakin. Basta un lang ang nararamdaman ku talaga ngayon. Jaypee: Dapat mapagusapan muna ng execom. Mark: Nalulungkot lang talaga ko. Parang sayang. Balewala ung ginawa natin. JhayR: Hindi naman balewala kasi nagexert tayo ng efforts. Nakapagcome-up tayo sa evaluation ng mga local churches sa buong district natin. Kua Floyd: Ang tamang proseso kasi, as I have remembered, according to the consti responsibility ng youth council ung desisyon ng sa planning. Program committee kayo ng CI. Unless nag-Go signal sa inyo ang youth council, to plan, then, dun dapat kayo magstart. Kaso parang ang nangyari, hindi nagkaroon ng tamang proseso nung DYC. Dapat kasi una ang Pagpaplano bago ang DYC. Pero ngayon baliktad ang nangyari. Ngayon, one option is ipatawag ung youth council, then dun magdecide about sa tatakbuhin ng planning for the district and sa CI na rin. Tsaka kayo gumawa ng next step. Seng: Wala bang ibang paraan? Parang magfoform tayo ng ibang paraan bukod sa pagbalik sa simula, gamit na yung mga nakuha natin ngayon. Ang alam ko kasi napagbotohan nay an ng youth council noon. At eto na nga yun. JhayR: Wala sa consensus un participants nun. Jaypee: Guys, wag kasi natin masyadong isipin ung deadline. We will consider it pero wag natin madaliin yung proseso. Like mamadaliin mong gawin ung project pero ang kinalabasan, kulang. Parang magluluto tayo ng mabilis pero yung isusubo, hilaw pa. Mark: Nalulungkot lang talaga ko na hindi natin mami-meet yung deadline. Shoti: Wala naman sinabing hindi mami-meet yung deadline. Ivan: Kaya pa yan. May 3 weeks pa tayo. Seng: Kaya nga tayo may deadline. Pressure, magdodouble time tayo to meet it.

JhayR: Paulit ulit sinabi ni Geno nun, ung deadline nay un ay ideal. Ung finance ba, kaya niyu agad imeet ung ideal deadline na yun? Icoconsider pa rin natin yun. Kuya Floyd: Magagamit nyo pa rin naman yang nagamit nyong data. Pwede kayo magmeet before DYC to discuss kung ano ung pwede niyo isuggest or recommend, then report un nagather na data sa harap ng youth council. Then you will all decide. (Yun ung tamang proseso.) Jaypee: Wag natin madaliin ung mga sarili dahil sa deadline. I-consider natin pero let it not be a hindrance para hindi mangyari ung tamang proseso. Seng: Baka may iba pa ring paraan.
