AKAPULCO OINTMENT
(CASIA ALLATA l.)

Materials:
1.Akapulco-is a shrub that grows wild on Mt. Banahaw.The leaves contain Chrysophanic acid. The leaves are reported to be purgative, sudorific And diuretic but the most important is it is the use for the treatment for skin diseases. 2.Coconut oil-is emollient and lubricant.our group chose this ingredient so that Our ointment will not be very hard. 3.Grater-we will use this grater to grate white candles for our ointment 4.White candles-we chose this material so that the substances will form into one 5.mortar and pestle-to pound or to press the akapulco leaves

Procedure:
1.Measure one glass of akapulco leaves and one glass of coconut oil. 2.Fry leaves until crispy fry.strain and cool. 3.Grate 2 pieces of white candles and pour the strained oil in a clay or glass pot. 4.Add the grated candles. 5.Heat until the candle has melted. 6.pour in prepared molders. 7.Cool and cover. 8.Apply in affected areas 2 times a day.
