    Activity session subject : Classroom Objects and Mothers Day Activities Continued Vocabulary: pencil, pen, marker, coloured pencil, crayon, eraser, ruler, pencil sharpener, glue, scissors, paper, book, bag, garbage can, desk, table, chair, board, stapler What is it... It is a Happy Mothers Day I love my mommy Activities / songs / games: Song: The Wheels on the Bus I Love my Mommy Activities: Mothers Day Flower What is in the bag? Children have to pass the school bag around and when the music stops pull a classroom object out of the bag and tell the class what it is

    Phonics In phonics we are continuing to identify the first letter sounds of words in the Phonics book. We have finished our alphabet books and they have been sent home.

    Review This week we are reviewing: numbers, letters, prepositions and family.

    Notes / parent follow up: If you would like to help your child review classroom objects at home, ask them what different objects are while they are completing their homework. For example, Hold up a pencil and ask: what is it? Reply It is a pencil. To further review, ask what colour and how many there are.
