Colouring in pictures rooms in the house Play a game using a dice with different rooms of the house on it. i.e. Where are you going? Roll dice. I am going to the kitchen. Arrange the objects into the correct rooms Vocabulary Fishing and sorting - Fish for an object with the magnetic fishing rod - Put the object into the correct room Associate the actions with the room its done and with the object that is used - Choose an action - What room is it done? - Find the objects you need for that action - Act out the action

Phonics This week we will be focusing on beginning and end sounds to check students understanding and practice new sight words. Review This week we will continue studying family in our review time. We will talk about our families ( how many brothers and sisters we have ) and draw pictures to show all the members of our own families. Notes / parent follow up: This week talk to your child about the different rooms and the things you can find inside. Ask them how they are different and what you do in each room.
