September 11th Memorial Tower

honor of the 10th Anniversary of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York City. To Benefit The Wounded The Tucson Police Department SWAT Team will be hosting a Tower Challenge in Warrior Project
Sunday September 11th, 2011 11:00 am 5151 E. Broadway Complete 110 Story Stairwell Climb

This is a 17 story building with two stairwells. Runners will run, walk, climb, or crawl from the bottom of the building to the top, six and half times. This is the equivalent of 110 stories which is equal to the height of the World Trade Center. Participation is restricted to certified local and federal law enforcements officers and fire personnel. There will be several static displays of SWAT, Police and Fire Department Vehicles at the event. The public is invited to stop by to tour the displays, make donations, and support those participating in this charity event

REGISTRAION:

Due to building restraints the event will be limited to only the first 100 registered participants. Registration is free but all participants are encouraged to obtain pledges and donations which will be donated to The Wounded Warrior Project. The goal is to have each participant raise $100 through pledges or donations. Pledge sheets will be broken down so donors can pledge a specified amount per number of stories completed.
