Manifesto MBA Knowledge Management Club Nominee - Sindhura Sunkara Role - President What do you consider important when

n trying to solve a problem?, this may be a question you get asked at a job interview or something you discuss with your team mates through out your MBA course work. A good answer to this question lies in analyzing the information at hand, focusing on key issues, challenging assumptions, creating innovative and sustainable solutions and coming up with good alternatives. In todays digital age, we are exposed to a plethora of information, often leading to information fatigue. In order to make intelligent and informed analyses and decisions, one needs to be able to sift through this information efficiently and present ones facts and opinions effectively. Through my candidacy as the president of the Knowledge Management Club, I aim to provide the MBA students with a platform and tools to both effectively manage the available information and communicate deductions and points of view. I hope to accomplish this vision by following existing as well as new approaches:
y

Knowledge Management Skill Enhancement o Student & Faculty Brown Bag Lunches on current events and trends o Faculty, librarians, alumni and industry leaders talks o Leverage mentor program resources Management skill enhancement o Workshops to improve time management & other soft skills o Continue Series on Annual Business Case Competition Teams for the NUS MBA Public Speaking Skill Enhancement o On-going ToastMasters style training ground o Workshops to improve public speaking skills o Interact & learn from local ToastMasters & NUS Debates members

I will also constantly engage in evaluation of existing initiatives and seek ideas for new and unchartered grounds. While accomplishing these goals, I hope to be able to work closely with the cohort, Ex-co members and rest of the student council , in order to uphold the mission of the council as well as that of the KM Club.
