Human resources tasks involved in the front office functions of recruiting, hiring, orienting, skills training, staff scheduling and staff motivation.

Recruiting
recruitment and selection is the major function of the human resource department. Recruitment process involves a systematic procedure from sourcing the candidates to arranging and conducting the interviews and requires many resources and time.

Selecting
Selecting is the process of choosing the most suitable and able applicant for the Job. Selecting a good applicant ensures the productivity of the given Business.

Hiring

Hiring or the recruitment of a personnel. Hiring the right employee is a challenging process. Hiring the wrong employee is expensive, costly to your work environment, and time consuming. Hiring the right employee, on the other hand, pays you back in employee productivity, a successful employment relationship, and a positive impact on your total work environment.

Orienting
Orientation integrates the new employee into your organization and assists with retention, motivation, job satisfaction, and quickly enabling each individual to become contributing members of the work team.

Skills training
Education or training designed to provide the participant with the basic skills and certification necessary for employment in an occupational area.

Staff Scheduling
Scheduling is the process of deciding how to commit resources between a variety of possible tasks. Time can be specified or floating as part of a sequence of events. Its also vital for planning the working time of the employee.

Staff Motivation Motivation is the driving force by which humans achieve their goals. An employee must be motivated to work for a company or organization. If no motivation is present in an employee, then that employees quality of work or all work in general will deteriorate.
