Printing Supplier Bids Sourcing Allan Caballero Peter

In supporting the Online eRFx tool, I have
been asked by several sourcing leads as to
how the supplier is able to print their
submitted bid. I just ran a complete test as a
Test Supplier and looked at every opportunity
to print. It seems that the system only gives
the supplier the ability to print the basic bid
questions. I didn't find a way to print the
supplier's bid response, which would show all
the questions along with the responses the
supplier entered. I need help in finding how
this can be done so that I can do a procedure
document that can be given to the supplier.
Thanks.

Email Approvals on ACM ACM Allan Caballero Roopa

We are investigating about the Email Approval Pasari
feature on ACM. As we can see in the
parameters.table, there are parameters
regarding this feature but we are not able to
make it work yet.

We set the EmailApprovalEnabled parameter

to true and other parameters, we receive an
email notification telling about the approval
which contains the approve and deny links.
However, either links do not automatically
approve nor deny.

As we looked into PDF, it says about

EmailApprovalEnabled parameter that when it
is set to true, the approver will receive emails
related to Approva, Review or Negotiations.
And that it works differently in Ariba Buyer
and email approvals are not supported in
ACM.

Does it mean that ACM really don't have this

feature? Or are we just missing something in
setting the parameters to make it work
successfully?

There was an incident reported wherein a
user, after approving the CA (Contract

Deny button. The CA still appears on his
approval queue as well.

We have already investigated the issue

and found out that this happens when a
person who has already approved was
added back again as a watcher of the CA.

Ideally, since he already has approved

the CA, he is now just a watcher of the
CA and does not have to approve. Why
do the Approve Deny button still visible
to him?

dictated by the roles assigned

:"As you know there are two
places where you can change the
NetworkId of a supplier. The
common supplier
(SupplierIDs.csv) and the supplier
location
(SupplierLocationSupplement.csv)
. If you change the NetworkId of
the supplier in both places then
the order that are not fully
approved will get routed to the
new supplier account (NetworkId)
once fully approved as this is
impacted by the supplier locations.
And the Invoices already created
on ASN for the previously
approved PO will fail in Buyer (as
they are related to common
supplier NetworkId) and I can't
think of any workaround to get
around this. So it may be best for
you create a new common
supplier (and a partitioned
supplier) with the new NetworkId
and then delete the current
supplier with the current
NetworkId once all the PO's are
sent and Invoices are fully
reconciled

be much larger. Why is that?
Does your statement

only apply to images stored on
supplier's
websites? ..... The supplier did
not specify the image as
thumbnail. I have attached two
catalogs. The Archway catalog
specifies the images that are
stored on the
supplier's site. The Bradley catalog
specifies images that are stored
on
our site. The Archway images
always display as 250 x 250 while
the Bradley
images are much larger. Please let

agreed that this ticket will be
closed
01/07/08 RLS: As per Aria,
it is not possible to directly
make the creation of an RFX
dependent on the
completion of a task.
02/04/08 JSP: Ariba wasn't 1/31/2008

Ariba's reply
02/04/08 JSP: The 2/1/2008
OrganizationPullTask scheduled
task should pull the corporate
URL into sourcing. Ticket
closed.
01/28/08 JSP: Since the
Corporate URL field is not
visible in AES, Rinu Singhania
recommended adding a custom
attribute to add their
Corporate URL. We need help
pulling the Corporate URL field
from this custom attribute
from Sourcing to ACM. As per
Aedrian.
02/08/08 JSP: User has 2/7/2008
agreed to create a new
requisition, since the issue
could not be recreated. Ticket
closed.
02/04/08 JSP: As per Ariba,
after reviewing the files, it
looks like the order was moved
to 'Ordered' status manually
through inspector by updating
the 'Ordered State' value to 4.
There is no other way the
order status can be ordered in
Buyer while order failed to be
sent to ASN which is proved by
the following facts:
1) Order is not available on
ASN
2) Order history shows Order
sending had failed

02/08/08 JSP: Ticket closed. 2/6/2008

02/04/08 JSP: Unable to

but was closed by Ariba.
01/07/08 RLS: This has
been acknowledged as defect
by Ariba. As a workaround
users should be able to avoid
this by selecting both
checkboxes
(to and from) or not selecting
either when you create the
question in

02/15/2008 JSP: Ariba
waiting for input. Confirmed
with Ariba that restarting the
node was also the only remedy
that is being applied.
02/08/2008 JSP: As per
Ariba, there is no other way to
halt the task (running
ExpireDelegations task with
status changed to
completed/error). It needs to
restart the node.
02/04/08: JSP: As per Ariba,
yes, you can change the status
to Error /completed. It doesn’t
mean that the task is killed, if
the thread related to the task
is still running in the
background, it will throw an
error when the task is rerun.
Usually in these types of
scenario’s the thread already
had died. You can change the
status and rerun the task
again.

have also provided information
on how to distinguish Invoices
that originated from ASN.
03/04/08 JSP: Ariba

invoice user, the
FileInvoiceLoader task will take
longer periods of time to
complete.
03/14/08 JSP: Ariba has 3/13/2008
closed the SR.
03/11/08 JSP: Ariba

mentioned that this is a
recently raised defect (1-

workaround possible at the
moment. SR is now closed as
"Pending Fix ETA"/"Pending

03/24/08 JSP: Ariba would
like to confirm that when a

classes under ORMS sessions.
05/21/08 JSP: Ariba
suggests that we add the
custom class under ORMS
session in the parameters.table

05/16/08 JSP: As per Ariba,
the reason for this error is
because a particular custom
clusterRoot class is being
updated, and it is not a child
class of any of the classes
listed under the ORMSUser
session in parameters.table.
Or, if the class is not a child of
any of the classes listed under
the ORMSUser session in
parameters.table, then the
class itself is not listed under
the classes listed under the
ORMSUser session in
parameters.table.

investigation
08/08/08 RLD: Ariba 8/8/2008 0:00
informed us that "The routing
method that shows up on the
report depends on what the
supplier configures on their
supplier account as the invoice
routing method.

If they're using an invoice

poster tool but do not change
their routing method, it is
possible that they had "online"
as the routing method
configured on their account
(unless they explicitly
configured to cXML). In other
words, the routing method on
the report is not determined by
examining the invoice
documents
on how they are created, but
based on the supplier's
configured preference.
