This should help the narration to be built with the essential courses of action, e.g., children working in varied types of establishments are filmed reflecting the nature of work and its hardships, the treatment meted out at the hands of the employer, the problems within the family and society reasoning out the causes of children taking to jobs, and a portrayal of their living conditions. The short film ends with a question on the childrens future. Subject/Storyline: Using the third person narrative approach, write a brief of the story/ subject as a narration. For instance, three boys between the ages nine and thirteen lived in the slums of Mumbai, who were labourers. Rohit worked in a wayside eatery, Manohar was an errand boy at a garage, and Shabir washed plates in a restaurant. All the three belonged to broken families and hence destiny forced them to become the bread-winners of their families. All the three suffered heightened levels of humiliation at the hands of their employers 3. Treatment: Describe the tone of the narration supported by details of location, and settings (if any). The sequence of the narration should be explained in detail such as sequential narration, flashback, flash forward, etc. 4. Characterisation: A detailed description of the mainline characters explaining their behaviour, gestures (unusual ones, if any), description of their attire, so on and so forth. 5. Narration: Using present tense, narrate the storyline as visualized for the screenplay with adequate descriptions for the application of visuals. 6. Script-writing: Use any one of the accepted formats. 7. Storyboard: Pencil-sketch the vital visuals that determine the change of course in the narration along with the requisite descriptions.
