THE MAN BEHIND THE CAMERA

A Closer Look at Michael Willis

Michael Willis, born in San Bernardino, CA, made his movie directorial debut with Elusive Love. College was short lived, but because of a strong passion for creativity, and a love for films, Willis began looking for opportunities to get closer to the action. While working on different film sets in both talent and production roles, he began to really educate himself about the whole moving making process. A hands-on learner, Willis was able to get the know-how, skill set, and knowledge base of all aspects of films by working and assisting on as many productions as possible. His experience provided him with enough expertise and helped to build the confidence within Willis for him to take the directors seat. Along with his poise, Willis was able to bring to set a clever, straightforward, and methodical style. Willis says, With Elusive Love we were blessed to be able to cast great talent as well as put together a very solid production crew. It was a great team effort from start to finish. Willis took the job of director head on with the belief that he could handle the bumps and get the job done. Converting a writers thoughts into real life is the mission that a director must achieve. It is a huge challenge but thats what makes the job so exciting.
