Happiness whether or not By: Lester John A.

Cajes

Fancy felicity may be But another millisecond shall make you see Its the everywhere-seen myrtles The wind that whispers; a bell that tinkles

Gaiety cordially thrives as it may In a jaunt back home after a toilsome day Bounteous acts, exuberant scenery fill the way Lifes a kaleidoscope no black, nor gray

A babys breath so gentle and mild Jovial innocence that of a child Tossing waves that shy the bitter crumb Methinks no hurdles higher than a thumb

But the quest for joy, as well, is pure Never to harm others for personal lure Neither should one to guile succumb; and utter Oh Dozing Happiness! From parlous pain make me numb

Laughter, a panacea for travail as we claim But futile it is with remorse and disdain Happiness, whether or not; it pays to be wise Suffocating sweetness is nothing but a guise
