Oral Presentations (July 10 and 11) Individual Work

Prepare a bar/line graph(s) or pie chart(s) that describe changing

trends on any conceivable (social/economic/political, etc.) topic,
which doesn’t have to be authentic, but which must not be any
one from the textbook.

You should do it on PowerPoint. The presentation should last

around 4-5 minutes. (A stopwatch will be used to time your
presentation, starting from the first slide until the end of the
presentation.) And you are expected not to read notes from the
screen or from a prepared note in hand.

Be present on both days. Your absence on either day would

result in your getting 1 mark off the score.

July 11 will be the last day before midterm. So we will try to

finish as many presentations as possible on July 10 and the
remainder of the last day (July 11) after the presentations will be
for revision.

Please come well-prepared because the marks allocated to the

task are substantial.
