edu , 34313, S236, TA: TBD Catalog Description: Experimental methods used in chemical and biomolecular research such as error analysis, experimental design, vacuum methods, microscopy (optical, electron, atomic force), scattering, spectroscopic analysis, bioanalysis, and x-ray diffraction. The following topics will be covered. After the first 6 lectures, the theory and data analysis for each technique will be presented, followed by a lab demonstration and distribution of data to the students for analysis.
