Textbook: Biostatistical Analysis 5th By Jerrold H. Zar

Course Description In this course we will explore the use of statistical methodology in
(as in the catalog): interpreting, analyzing, designing, and presenting observations and
experiments. This course covers probability, counting methods, descriptive
statistics, and elements of experimental design, hypothesis testing and
statistical inference, analysis of variance, correlation, regression
techniques.
Specific Outcomes of 1- Apply basic statistical concepts that used in biomedical field. (a, e)
Instruction (Course 2- Recognize and give examples of different types of data (a).
Outcomes): 3- Select the appropriate method to summarize the data (a,e)
4- Perform hypothesis test and t-test and explain a p-value (a,e)
