Assumptions: 1. BID entity contains vendor response as an attribute. 2. One or more staff members review/approve book proposals. 3. The books content is the same as the production book (PROD BOOK). 4. Only expert reviewers provide edits to books content and only press media publish a written review which is used for marketing purposes.. 5. Once a book proposal is approved, a transmittal record is created and the book is then in a production environment. 6. If a book proposal is not approved, it is not tracked in the database beyond that decision. 7. The author(s) of a book signs the contract (contract signed date is in transmittal record). 8. Processes includes different parts of the production process, such as typesetting, book cover design, binding, printing.
