Class information: year 10SCA No. of students: 20 Topic: Animal Nutrition Subtopic: Vitamins Lesson Objectives: At the end of the session, students able to: 1) List the principal sources of vitamin C & D. 2) Describe the dietary importance of vitamin C & D. 3) Name the diseases and describe the symptoms of resulting from deficiencies of vitamin C & D. Teacher activity Recap the previous lesson and introduce the topic that the students are about to explore and learn. Show the lesson instruction and the outline on the screen using a projector. Explain the tools that are expected to be used and demonstate how to use them. Distribute the different sections to each group and monitor their progress. Provide guidance only when necessary.
Learning outcomes
Form a group of 4 students and listen to the instructions and explainations given. Each students should register on Prezi.com and try the simple tool for a short while The 5 different groups of students will be exploring different sections of the topic. For example, one grop will exclusively investigate the different types of food that contains vitamins C and D. The internets search engines are to be utilised and relevant inforamtion are to be recorded onto their report books. New web tool, Prezi

Classify individual students in each group with catagory A, B, C and D. Ensure students are in their group.
Independently as a group choosing relevant information out of numerous choices on the assigned section.
Regroup with their respective catagory that has been assigned. Explain to the rest of the new group members on their discovery. Peer teaching
Montior their progress and ensure that every group are in sync to stay on the timeline.
Compile thier findings onto a Prezi canvas and upload their link onto weebly page under the vitamin section for later presentation.

Open the weebly web page on the master computer and project it on the screen. Use rubrics to asses each students Ask students to give a constructive feedback right after their presentation and remind them to fill in the form provided in the weebly page.
Each group will present using the Prezi peresentation that has been created for a short 5 minutes each. Starting alphabetically from group A to group D. Provovide constructive feedback. Each group will assess each presenter by filling in the form on the weebly. Do a short quiz on vitamins and submit their answers. Shut down computers.
